onald F. Kilmartin, Jr. is admitted to the practice of law in the states of New York and Connecticut as well as the federal courts. He has been providing effective and compassionate legal services to his clients for in excess of 35 years. His practice is concentrated in the areas of elder law and estate planning, including preparation of complex wills and trusts, medicaid planning and medicaid applications.

Mr. Kilmartin is a member of The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (National and New York); The New York State Bar Association (Elder law and Estate planning sections); and the Yonkers Lawyers Association. He is also a former member of the The Business Development Board of Hudson Valley Bank (now Webster Bank) and the Planning Board for the Borough of Englewood Cliffs New Jersey. He has functioned as a court-appointed Court Evaluator and attorney for AIP in Article 81 Guardianship cases in the New York State Supreme Court.

Mr. Kilmartin was formerly employed as outside counsel to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Resolution Trust Corporation for whom he handled complex litigation and commercial and residential real estate transactions.

He graduated with a degree in economics from Fairfield University (1982) and received his juris doctor from Quinnipiac College School of Law in 1985.
